Below is the email we received tonight. October 18th is also Alexander's first birthday! Hopefully we will get to hug the birthday boy in person!
Dear Natalie,
I have potentially really good news. You case will leave the civil registry tomorrow. If all goes well, M will go to the embassy next Monday to request your pink slip--that is an appointment date for your exit interview at the embassy. If she submits this request on Monday, then by Weds. late afternoon (the 11th), we should have the pink slip, If we do, you will probably be traveling around Oct 18th or so to get Alexander.
