Tentative Travel Plans

Now that we know our travel date is coming any day now, we have started making plans. After maintaining a flexible schedule for the past couple of months in anticipation of our trip, Tia Anna had to take a "reserve" month in October. This means she has to be at the airport within two hours of receiving a call, so she has to stay here. "The best laid plans of mice and men!" Why do we still bother I wonder?

I think Eddy and I going together will be a safeguard against some further surprises. For example, we were told that our visits were voluntary. Later when we entered PGN, we were required to submit a letter stating that we had both visited Alexander in person. This would have been troublesome if we had not both gone. So, it would not surprise me at all if I had waltzed in with the power of attorney form only to be told it should have been written in 14 point font or something. I am kind of joking, but one never knows.

Michelle and Todd have graciously offered to keep Charlie in Houston. Charlie will be staying in the US since we are more comfortable with her staying here. We will be flying in and out of Houston on Continental (or at least that is "the plan", but surely we should have learned about those by now?) . We have also been told by another family about a great hotel called the San Carlos. This is a nice additional option. All we are missing is the minor detail of a date!!
